Fish are very popular choice of pet in the UK, in fact they are the third most popular after dogs and cats. Their popularity can be attributed to people living in smaller spaces for whom having a cat or dog is not practical. Fish actually will make excellent pets if you do not have the time or space to cater for a higher-maintenance animal.

Fish are wonderful to watch and they have a calming and relaxing effect on you. They are inexpensive to feed and maintain.

  • Fish – Cold water, Tropical and Marine over 100 species to choose from
  • Aquariums – All sizes from starter kits, small plastic bowls to large display aquariums including juwel, aquael, aqua szut, clear sill, sera, penn-plax in stock with all types and brands available to order.
  • Lighting – T8 lighting, T5 lighting and compact lighting with brands including aqua, Arcadia, Juwel, Sylvania, Biro.
  • Heating – Extensive range of aquatic heaters from 25watt to 300 watt including brands such as Aquel
  • Substrates – Aquatic gravel and sand, with a range of colours to choose from natural to vibrant.
  • Food: Dry – varied range of frozen and dry fish food, cichlid food, community fish food, cat fish food including brands such as Tetra, Aquarian, Hikari, Sera, Ocean Nutrition, JMC, holiday blocks.
    Frozen food – blister packs of frozen fish food by Alpha and Gamma, the varied type for all fish.
  • Filtration – Internal as well as external filtration, ranging from small aquariums up to very large, display aquariums with brands like Aquel, Juwel, Fluval and Sera. Filter media to complement the filtration systems.
  • Treatments – Water conditioners, PH buffers, anti-parasite and bacterial treatments, plant food, nitrate minus brands including Interpet, Tetra, Sera, Fluval, Waterlife, API, Seachem.
  • Decoration – Live plants, plastic plants, ornaments, natural stones.

The Pet Lodge is easily found at 281 Court Road in Eltham, between Chislehurst, Lee, Lewisham and Grove Park. There is free on street parking.

The Pet Lodge is open on all Public Holidays excluding Christmas Day.
